Ala Moana

Meaning “path to the sea,” Ala Moana is a commercial, retail and residential district situated along the southern shores of the island of O’ahu. Featuring a vast stretch of reef-protected white sandy beaches, the urban beachfront community boasts a wealth of outdoor recreation opportunities combined with world-class shopping and dining experiences. With Ala Moana Beach Park also being a part of the neighborhood, residents can easily enjoy over a half-mile of white sand beaches when it is time to unwind. Due to the idyllic location of the Ala Moana neighborhood, most condos within the community boast lovely views of the ocean, mountains and the city. Similarly, most condos within the community offer numerous amenities for residents to enjoy. Located between Waikiki to the east and Kakaako and Honolulu Harbor to the west, Ala Moana is bordered by King Street to the north. This, in turn, serves as the border for the neighborhood of Makiki. The impressive Hawaii Convention Center, which is located at the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Kalakaua Avenue, serves as the eastern boundary to the neighborhood. Piikoi Street serves as the border to the west while Kapiolani Boulevard serves as a border to the north. The southern border is formed by the Ala Wai Canal, Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and Ala Moana Beach Park.
